Diabetes Management
Of the 460,000 diabetics in Indiana, 62,000 are kids between the ages of 10 and 17. IU Health is working to keep these number from growing, while providing vital diabetes management resources to those who are affected.Fit for Life
In partnership with the YMCA, IU Health offers Fit for Life. This program addresses youth obesity by providing healthy, productive activities for kids ages 5 to 12.Health & Nutrition
IU Health collaborates with Franciscan Health to provide health and nutrition education to the community. Nutrition information is offered as part of the YMCA’s cultural initiatives, while health education is provided as needs-based outreach.
